What`s the most inteligent person ever ?

I know this one is very difficult to answer but who would you consider the most inteligent person ever.

Not going to consider Jesus or any other religious leader here.

Normally I would say AE, but I also have to consider Steven Hawkins. His books were eye openers. In time, I believe his name will mean more as some things begin to happen that he has mentioned by way of theorum. Some of his last statements were astounding, considering he is a man of science. He said that none of his theory could claim or rule out there being a possibility that there may be a God. A true scientist weighs all consideration on a matter and all the evidence they can bring to the table on the subject before casting a vote, and I believe that he tried to do that.

Albert Einstein is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating and influential figures of the modern era. As a preeminent physicist, he radically transformed our understanding of the universe. As an ardent humanist, he took an active and outspoken stance on the significant political and social issues of his time. As a committed Jew, he advocated a distinctive moral role for the Jewish people.

The Nobel Prizes are awarded by the Nobel Foundation of Sweden to men and women who have rendered the greatest service to humankind. Between 1901 and 2007, more than 750 Nobel Prizes were handed out. Of these, at least 162 are Jews.

I think it has to be Leonardo da Vince without any question. Granted, the other two stand heads above everyone else..and there are a few others down through time who stand out from everyone else, but AE and Sir I merely dabbled in a certain area of sicence, where the great man himself, Leonardo da Vince, is one of the founding fathers of the combined areas of sicence all put together!

He was a painter of great standing, an engineer to the court of his time, inventor, chemist, early physicist and one of the defining character of biology and forefather of modern day pathology.
